We're excited to be looking for a Director, eCommerce to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting directly to our Vice President, Marketing, you will play a critical role in the design and successful implementation of digital experiences which transform how customers interact with Annie Selke brand, products, and services.

The leading candidate will have domain knowledge of solid design and user experience principles, ecommerce operations, along with a strong understanding of evolving customer expectations.


How will you support the team?

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive engagement and conversion through site functionality and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, product development and merchandising teams to translate the needs of the business into strategic website enhancements and new website functionality with associated business case and success metrics.
  • Build and manage an A/B Testing program including roadmap and prioritization, execution, and analysis to develop actionable insights.
  • Ensure the B2B site meets the needs of Codarus, retail partners and designers, partnering with the Director of Sales Operations and Director of Business Development to identify and streamline processes within the B2B commerce environment.
  • Manage the ecommerce content management and site merchandising team, support the team in leveraging the Bloomreach platform and in-platform testing and optimizations to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with IT on process automations to support selling, account management and improve overall business operations.
  • Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution, analyze results and make recommendations for further optimizations and enhancements.
  • Facilitate development and manage a product backlog with the SCRUM master/solutions architect, facilitate requirement discussions, changing priorities, processes, data governance and QA. Support the technical team’s end-to-end efforts for testing, validation and sign-off.
  • Ensure the Annie Selke ecommerce site delivers a premium brand and exceptional consumer experience through UX-centric design.

We're looking for someone with...

  • Balanced thinker – able to bring together brand strategy, customer experience, best-in-class digital commerce and a solid technical understanding to ensure an engaged collaborator and sparring partner for developers and IT partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field with 10 years relevant experience (ecommerce, IT project, data management, process improvement).
  • Experience in ecommerce leadership, preferably in home décor, fashion, or CPG with a strong understanding of the business and brand, as well as IT development processes, practices, infrastructure, and technology solutions within the ecommerce ecosystem.
  • Track record of delivering successful products, including defining vision, strategy, and outcome-driven product roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce site merchandising principles with a proven ability to collaborate closely and effectively with merchants and marketing teams.
  • Strong project manager with the ability to lead large cross-functional teams of internal and external resources ensuring the on-time and inscope delivery of complex projects.
  • Analytical mindset, able to establish metrics and measure the success of new products or features, experienced with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
  • Experience articulating and testing product hypotheses utilizing user experience best practices.
  • Experience working in SCRUM or Agile Development, collaborating closely with developers and designers.
  • Demonstrated ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt your communication style for the audience (English required).
  • Strong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skills.
