Director Cold Drink Equipment & Immediate Consumption
Job description
This is a hands-on role, that will require the director to work directly with franchise GMs/team and bottlers to build and implement strategies to drive CDE 10/k growth in North American Operating Unit (NAOU), inclusive of:
- cooler innovation to capture insights on consumer traffic,
- cooler placements,
- State of the art equipment and prioritize NAOU investments in this space
The Director Cold Drink Equipment and Immediate Consumption (CDE/IC) will be responsible to:
- Provide Commercial leadership to develops equipment strategies that align with our IC growth mindset
- Provide support and direction throughout multiple trade shows, internal planning meetings and customer meetings that position NAOU as the “CDE thought leader” in the CPG industry
- Lead the CDE Commercial team through various CDE Bottler Pilots using an agile approach
- Establish annual CDE placement targets aligned to long range planning (LRP) strategies focused on our CDE/10K growth
- Ensure NAOU CDE execution plans align to brand, package and channel strategies for streamlined bottler adoption
- Works with RGM on System Health IC Pilots to ensure Share of visible inventory (SOVI) growth, recruitment and IC mix growth are captured
- Collaborates with Global on IC and CDE initiatives that drive stronger processes and routines related to CDE
- Responsible for leading the developing CDE Dashboard requirements that meet the needs of the NAOU leadership and bottlers and partners with Platform Services to drive automation of monthly scorecards/CDE Dashboard
- Leads Bottler CDE Forum that showcases Best In Class CDE processes, equipment, innovation, and pilot programs to drive faster adoption
- Lead NAOU through the development of key activities that align end to end processes of equipment and provides a common framework to execute CDE Assessments in a structed and consistent way across NAOU
- Collaborate with Franchise leads on Bottler CDE Assessments and leverage results to prioritize future capabilities needed from the center
Communication Focus
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and key Bottling partners
- Internal: Communication and alignment of key activities needed to advance CDE placements, program gaps and opportunities to be addressed
- External: Communication with Customers on CDE solutions and communicate with key advisors and other stakeholders to ensure IC growth/expansion through CDE
- System: Communication and alignment of key initiatives with Bottling community and other OU’s on key strategies, projects, activities, and business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or similar degree field
- 10 years of experience with cold drink equipment, bottlers, or franchise teams
- Proven operational and brand experience
- Strong program and project management experience
- Strong change management capabilities
- Successful strategic thinking acumen – positioning, role, occasions
- Effectively communicates, collaborates, and builds relationships at all organizational levels
