Direct Support Professional (DSP) Responsibilities:
- Support a team that cares for youth, adolescents, or adults in a residential school/group home, or other setting
- Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities (DD), intellectual disabilities (ID), behavioral challenges, or mental health diagnoses
- Provide a safe environment for all individuals in our care
- Document all relevant information in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in daily shift duties which may include engaging in activities, assisting with personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation
- 6-months experience working in human services or a related field as a Direct Support Professional, Residential Counselor, Mental Health Worker, Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or similar direct care position (preferred).
- Passion for helping people
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Reliable transportation
- High School diploma or GED
