This employer is looking to fill full-time and part-time shifts in their two 24-hour Residential homes in South Salem and Turner. You will know the providers you work for, not just levels of management, and the employer will work with you to provide a schedule that meets your needs.

Requirements:
- 1-year verifiable caregiving experience
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED

Preferences:
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (needed upon hire - the employer will assist)
- Driver's license to transport clients

Job Duties:
- Follow individual support plans, behavior support plans, and other support documents to meet the medical, life skills, social skills, and behavioral needs/goals of individuals.
- Administer medications to clients and provide medical support as required per training and written doctor's orders
- Provide clothing, bathing, and hygiene assistance as required
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds while assisting clients
- Assist in grocery shopping, food preparation, and cooking per medical/nutritional orders and individual preferences
- Provide social skills training for interaction with staff and residents as well as integration into the community
- Represent and/or advocate for the needs and desires of individuals
- Be a positive role model
- Maintain client and staff safety by remaining alert and eliminating potential hazards
- Produce effective and appropriate communication (written or spoken) with personnel, management, individuals, and outside agencies
- Interact respectfully and cooperate with coworkers
- Complete documentation completely and accurately
- Comply with all relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs)
- Arrive to work as assigned on the schedule
- Maintain CPR, First Aid, OIS, Mandatory Abuse, and Blood Borne Pathogen certifications without lapses
- Attend staff meetings as scheduled
- Keep the house, yard, and program vehicles neat and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned

Hours:
- Part-time or Full-time.
- Swing shift 1 PM to 9 PM and 2 PM -10 PM

Pay and Benefits:
- $17.25 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience

- Employer conducts DHS criminal history check and drug test prior to the first day of employment
- Employees must submit to random drug tests
- This position requires intermittent periods of standing and sitting, with frequent periods of walking short distances within the facility
