The Windsor Independent Living Association, WILA, is a private not for profit organization in Windsor CT. WILA supports adults with intellectual disabilities as they live and work in the community. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift employment opportunities in Windsor, CT for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) supporting adults with intellectual disabilities. The DSP provides a level of care that enhances the health, safety and contentment of every individual served. All openings are direct care and many include regularly scheduled hours.

Must be energetic, compassionate, at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma. Must have a valid driver's license, and a good driving record. Applicants must have a stable work history; as demonstrated by their ability to work for the same employer for an extended period of time. Post offer /pre-employment drug testing, background checks and physical are part of the hiring process. Requires the ability to physically access all areas of a home and yard, excellent oral and written communication/documentation skills and proficient computer skills.
