Job description

The Arc of North Carolina is seeking a dependable, creative Support Associate to provide support to a young woman in the Pittsboro area. This can include fun activities in the home and adventures and/or great community engagement activities in the individuals outdoor environment! Position is for 8 to 30 hours a week. This individuals schedule could be combined with other individuals in the area to create a full time schedule if so desired. Support Associate will assist with personal care, social skills, and activities of daily living.

Support Associate will provide services at the person’s home and in the community (as safety allows due to COVID). Support Associate will be provided face masks and hand sanitizer for their shifts. Ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and be comfortable with different communication styles. Valid driver’s license and ability to complete online trainings and documentation required.
