Compensation: starting at $ 15.47 + an Hour

The right candidates will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. If you have prior experience working with developmentally disabled adults in a direct care role, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS driver's license & Driving Abstract

• High school diploma / GED
• Ability to pass background checks
• Compassionate about the care and well being of others

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene
• Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship
• Ensure an appropriate staff to client ratio at all times
• Provide supervision and guidance for residents during skill building activities
• Update resident logbook/case notes on a daily basis

Preferred:

• Previous relevant experience
• Healthcare certifications (CPR/SCIP/AMAP..)'
