Full time Direct Support Professional/ CRMA position working with older adults and adults with intellectual disabilities in our Adult Day program in Waterville. Day programs are meant to be a safe place where clients can socialize and be stimulated under a supervised environment. We, at Bridges Home Services, are looking for someone who is energetic, patient, solutionary, self driven, and dependable to join our team of exceptional staff in Central Maine. Starting wage up to $18.00 per hour depending on experience. We are willing to train qualified candidates to obtain the required certifications.

Requirements:

• DSP Certification
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
• Current 40 hour CRMA Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current insurance
• Have a High school diploma or equivalent

Being a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Our DSPs strive to meet the consumer’s personal goals, assists with Activities of Daily Living, and integrate them into their community of choice. Staff should be passionate about improving the well-being of consumers, thinking of new activities to help consumers develop new skills, and be comfortable transporting consumers into the community. You must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable/ insured vehicle. A DSP Certificate is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate for this position. Staff must be comfortable working independently out in the field. Our DSP’s are supported by a Regional Coordinator to help guide and professionally develop your skills. If you are someone who wants a consistent schedule then this per diem position would be a good fit for you.
