1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

1.1. To provide labor support by operating various machines and equipment, in a safe and productive manner.

1.2. Meets productivity standards, identifies, and resolves problems in a timely and accurate manner.

1.3. Follows Quality standards and reports any changes or failures to supervisor immediately.

2. KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

2.1. Maintains, follows and keep up to date the latest trends/developments in Quality, Safety and Environmental practices through regular formal training.

2.2. Supports the inspection process by using basic measuring equipment, gauges and knowledge gained from training provided by Pandrol to inspect performed work.

2.3. Prepares product packaging by weighing, counting, bagging, boxing, sealing packages, as required and loading packaged products onto pallets.

2.4. Handles housekeeping tasks including wiping down machines, sweeping floors, and cleaning up non-hazardous liquid spills.

2.5. Reports all equipment faults, safety hazards, quality inquiries or accidents to the supervisor for immediate attention.

2.6. Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
