We are professional, agile and our goal is to The Crowell Group, LLC doing business as The Spring Lake Arbors is a family owned and operated, best in class Senior Living facility conveniently located in Spring Lake Heights, NJ. The Arbors operates 59 senior units and provides daily housekeeping, 3 meals a day, a beauty salon, medication monitoring, and health and wellness activities. The company was founded in 1982 and has always maintained a first class, hotel like experience but The Arbors has always prided itself on its homey and family environment with a truly dedicated staff, which includes many long time employees with decades of experience..

We are seeking a dining room manager to become an integral part of our team! The position is responsible for managing the dining room including overseeing service for supper, supervising the service team, and menu ordering & coordinating with Chef. In addition, the position is responsible for communicating with Resident's & their families and supporting the office. The position is Saturday & Sunday from 2 PM – 8 PM and 4 PM – 8 PM on Monday. Potential to increase weekly hours. Great residents & great place to work!

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for supervising of service staff
• Managing service of supper
• Interact with Residents to monitor their dietary requirements, tastes, preferences, and responses to the menu and work with the Chef to adjust as necessary.
• Responsible for communicating with internal and external personnel, Resident’s, their families, and vendors.
• Consistently represent the business in a professional and courteous manner.
• Effectively coordinate written and verbal interactions with Residents and their families.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to be professional, presentable, articulate, organized, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
