The Morrison Communities is recruiting for a full time Dietary Manager. This role will oversee the food production, dining area, cooking, catering etc., sanitation procedures, and the delivering of a meaningful dining experience for our residents.

The Dietary Manager oversees and assists with cooking and meal preparation based on established menus, regulations, polices, procedures and best practices, to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided daily, and the Dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Maintain and monitor accurate meal documentation records per established regulations and procedures. The Dietary Manager assists in the training of food service staff. Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events. Supervises the storage and care of food, supplies and equipment. Occasional early morning, evening, weekend hours required, so must be flexible with shift coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess at a minimum, high school diploma or GED
• Must have 5 years of food service experience in healthcare, restaurant, or other food service industry involving the planning and preparation of food in large quantities.
• Knowledge of state and federal food-handling and kitchen regulations
• Must possess a managerial Serve Safe Certification.
• Must have flexibility with schedule and must be able to communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, family members and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.
