Our customer in Fort Worth TX is seeking a dedicated and reliable cook. Come be a part of our TEAM!

Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Dining Services Cook include preparing and serving quantity food according to established recipes and follows the prepared recipes and menus; as well as maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene - all in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, community policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the administrator, dietitian and/or food service supervisor, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
Job Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma Preferred;
A) Preferred that the applicant/teammate have previous training (vocational or on-the-job) as a cook in a quality food service operation;
B) The Dining Services Cook will take on-going classes in dietary procedures, related law, regulations and guidelines pertaining to food production, food safety, assisted living and nursing home operations.
Licensure: Food handlers permit approved by the State of Texas. Dining Services Cooks will need a food manager certification approved by the State of Texas.
Experience: Requires at least a minimum of three months dietary experience working in a restaurant, hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related commercial kitchens specializing in volume cooking and made-to-order type work. Preference will be given to cooks with a minimum of one-year experience.
