Dietary Aide

The Carmelite Sisters have provided over 65 years of spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus. We are looking to hire a Full and Part-Time Dietary Aides.

Available Schedules: Full-Time 12p-8p; Part-Time 4p-8p; Part-Time 6a-2:30p - All schedules require Every Other Weekend.

Looking for a Dietary Aide who:

Dietary Aide Job Summary:

• Ensure that established Infection Control practices are maintained.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and work area clean.
• Prepare food in a nutritional, appetizing fashion and present in a caring manner.
• Operate equipment: toaster, steam line, plate warmer, dishwasher, coffee maker.
• Check dining area to ensure set up.
• Record refrigerator/freezer & dishwasher temperatures.
• Label & date foods for proper storing.
• Distribute appropriate snacks to floor.
• Sweep & mop floors.
• Clean machinery & stainless-steel counters.

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

• Must have a caring and compassionate nature.
• Food service experience preferred .
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Required.
• Must be able to understand, read & write English.
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.
