We are looking Dietary Aide/Cook to join our Culinary Services team to work a mix of both positions. This is a Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week with Full time Benefits. Possibility for overtime to fill in shifts.

Hours are;

Monday and Tuesday -5am to 1pm - Cook

Wednesday and Thursday - 6am to 2pm -Dietary Aide

Friday - 6am to 2pm - Dietary Aide

Thursday and Friday - every other off

Every other Saturday: 12:30pm-8pm Cook

Every other Sunday: 12:30pm-8pm Cook

Job Responsibilities;

• 
  Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing and on a timely basis in accordance with current menu, following time and temperature standards
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room
• Serve food in accordance to current diet, texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures
• Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution
• Deliver food carts, trays and other items to designated area
• Remove soiled carts and dishes from dining area upon completion of meal service
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure that they are ready for use for next meal.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from the nursing supervisor, when necessary
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures
• Assist in establishing food service production line, etc., to ensure that meals are prepared on time
• Assure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures

• 
  Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and/or received first dose of the vaccine before start date.
• High School Senior, Graduate or GED preferred
• Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available
