Massapequa Center is a 320-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Amityville, Long Island. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.
Job responsibilities include:
- Performs a variety of tasks that keep the kitchen functioning. Including but not limited to: sweeping, washing floors, keeping refrigerators and stockrooms clean and neat.
- Daily cleaning of ranges, kettles, carts, pots and pans and other food service equipment.
- Places food and supplies away after receipt.
- Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the supervisor or assist in tray service, portioning and assembling a variety of foods.
- Transporting loaded food carts to and from resident floors.
- Qualifications include:
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required
- Follows direction in regards to compliance with nutritional standards, internal procedures and regulations
- Ability to work some weekends preferred
