Summary

This position is responsible for providing professional, timely, and accurate telephone and desk-side support to meet the organization’s needs for reliably functioning client computers, printers, telephones, and other devices by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties

· Provides professional and accurate support to AllCare Health staff, vendors, and contractors through helpdesk tickets, over the telephone, in person, and via remote support tools.

· Triages IT department helpdesk tickets by reviewing and assigning issue priority, issue type, and IT resource while ensuring that response times are within the department’s established support policy timelines.

· Enters and tracks desktop support tickets effectively and promptly, provides timely status updates, and documents steps taken and solutions.
Supports external AllCare Health Provider Portal users over the telephone for account creation and account related issue resolution.

Education & Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations

Certificates: A+, Network+, MCP (MCSA/MCSE) and other technological certifications are preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Computer Skills

This is typically for an information technology position where the entire focus of the position is on computers or the networks on which computers communicate. Has advanced skills in working with hardware, software, support, and management of computer systems and can adapt extremely well to newer applications. Has advanced skills working with programming and networking computer software and systems.
