Job Description:
The End User Computing Offboarding Specialist will be responsible for processing offboarding requests assigned to the IT Desktop Support Teams and coordinating the recovery of company-issued computer hardware from employees upon completion of their employment. This position is very hands-on and requires self-motivation, strong verbal/written communication skills, strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities may also include entry-level IT desktop support, such as computer configurations, deployments, troubleshooting, and repairs. Training will be provided.

Skillset / Experience:

  • Proactively monitor ticketing systems, ensuring all tickets and tasks are updated daily with detailed documentation
  • Send and receive packaging and shipping materials to offboarded employees
  • Maintain a spreadsheet with tracking information for all returned hardware
  • Coordinate the return of non-IT items, such as badges, fobs, corporate credit cards, etc.to the proper departments
  • Identify recurring or trending issues and provide recommendations to management
  • Maintain an inventory of shipping and packing materials
  • Work with the Desktop Support Team on various tasks such as hardware/software deployments, support tasks, office moves, etc., when time permits (training will be provided)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of experience working in an office setting
  • General computer competency is required, including a minimum of 1-year experience Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience shipping, tracking, and receiving large amounts of parcel is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 per hour
