Design / Production Assistant
Job description
Enterprise Technology Services (ETEK) is looking for a Design/Production Assistant to join our Creative Services group supporting the U.S. Mint. This position will support our creative team with building digital media.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role on the creative services team contributing to data management, workflow, and knowledge management efforts
- Create and maintain a file naming convention, file architecture, and other data management tasks
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral using Adobe Creative Suite
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications
- Work with a wide range of digital media and use graphic design software
- Operate large-format printers and digital print production equipment
Qualifications:
- Background in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in graphic design or digital media
- Demonstrated proficiency with SharePoint-based applications and technologies, including but not limited to, Forms, Planner, and Bookings
- Knowledge of design fundamentals, typography, print, and web
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Must possess excellent project management skills, communication skills, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing
- Ability to multitask and work on a variety of projects at once, switching between them as necessary
- Willingness to learn skillsets not currently possessed
