This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to design for a luxury window treatment company that has been an Austin original for 20 years. This company prides themselves on quality products and quality customer care.

Behind the Design is hiring an experienced Design Consultant in the North Austin area that lives within 20 miles of the showroom. In this role, you will work between a gorgeous showroom and designing custom window treatments for a high-end clientele in their home. Through these in-home consultations, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the client’s dream design and be able to affect the client’s everyday life!

What We Offer:

• Leads - Consistency of pipeline builds results
• Excellent Compensation - Monthly Base plus Commission ranging from 10% - 12%
• Mileage Reimbursement - $300 Monthly

Must Haves:

• Experience - In-home luxury sales, estimating and negotiating, strong relationship building in the customer’s home, making them feel like the star of the show.
• Skills - Meticulous attention to detail, master at time with productive organizational skills
• Ability to - Use technology with ease and confidence, travel within a 40-mile territory to client homes with lifting up to 30 lbs. of sample books.

Core Functions:

• Be a Product Expert - Learn and recite in-depth knowledge about our custom window treatment offerings ranging from shutters, blinds, shades, draperies, and more!
• Educate Your Clients - From products to one of a kind solutions that will solve their design problem, you will guide the clients through their decision process.
• Negotiate Contract Terms - Selling a collaborative vision and ideal solution, you will be the design architect responsible for specifying, measuring, estimating, and closing.
• Create Raving Fans - Build client relationships resulting in repeat business and referrals for years to come.
