An exempt medical provider position responsible for providing direct care in a medical office setting under the direction of our Board Certified Dermatologist.

General Summary: An exempt medical provider position responsible for providing direct care in a medical office setting under the direction of our Board Certified Dermatologist. The essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Skin Dermatology
- Adheres to the Skin Dermatology HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement
- Assist physicians as needed and see patients under a physician’s supervision
- Practice general dermatology such as perform skin examinations, diagnose and treat common skin conditions
- Perform Cosmetic Dermatology procedures, including but not limited to, BOTOX, Fillers, chemical peels, PRP, lasers, injectables, etc.
- Examine and assess patients to determine suitable course of treatment
- Perform appropriate biopsies as needed to detect skin conditions and skin cancer
- Counsel patients on treatment options and long term care of their skin
- Refer patients to the surgeons for necessary skin surgeries such as skin cancer
- Prescribe suitable and appropriate medications to patients as necessary
- Recommend diagnostic testing or refer patients to other specialists as needed
- Utilize electronic medical record system
- Record patient’s health history in electronic medical record system (Modernizing Medicine EMA)
- Provide exceptional bedside care and counsel to each patient
- Maintain a clean office and a clean practicing environment
- Direct and coordinate activities of medical assistants
- Consult with and take direction from physicians regarding medical care of patients
- Maintain license through ongoing Continuing Medical Education credits as required
- Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations
- Ability to make patients feel comfortable, welcome, and heard
Education: Masters Degree
Salary: Starting Base Salary with opportunity for significant % of Revenue Bonus
Experience: The ideal candidate would have experience working as an Advanced Practice Provider in a Dermatology Practice. In addition the following is preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in the dermatology industry
- 2+ years of experience as a general Advanced Practice Provider
- 2+ years as a cosmetic injector / laser technician / aesthetics
- Plastic Surgeon/Medical Spa Experience is a plus
- Must have knowledge and experience in all aspects of general dermatology
- Must be able to provide pre- and post- treatment care options, treatment plans and patient education
- Must chart and document all consultations, procedures, recommendations and follow-up care
Skills: The ideal candidate should be skilled in problem solving, computer hardware and software use, verbal and written communication and in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
Abilities: The ideal candidate should have the ability to:
- Utilize medical equipment, supplies and instruments
- Understand and carry out written, oral and/or graphic instructions
- Multi-task, manage details and organize efficiently and effectively
- Interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively, as well as maintain a positive attitude throughout all interactions
- Utilize an Electronic Medical Records system, as well as other relevant computer hardware and software and other standard medical office equipment

The following qualifications are required:
- Graduate from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider (APP) program
- Passed Massachusetts State Boards
- Possess a valid state license to practice in Massachusetts
- Ability to pass a background check
