Job description
The Wythe County Commissioner of the Revenue is accepting applications for a full-time position of Deputy Commissioner of the Revenue. The position performs intermediate skilled clerical work assisting in the operation of the office of the Commissioner of the Revenue; does related work as required. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Commissioner of the Revenue. Assesses personal property. Assists taxpayers in the preparation of property tax forms. Prepares State Income tax returns. Applicant must be a high school graduate. Any experience or specialized training in these areas is a plus.
Benefits include health insurance with dental & vision, life insurance, VRS retirement, paid holidays and sick leave. Starting salary is negotiable.
