Front Desk Team members are a huge part of giving our patients a wonderful experience from beginning to end, greeting patients with a friendly & warm smile and with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Strive to provide a superior patient experience
  • Check out patients
  • Calculate co-payments and present treatment plan
  • Educate the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options, including third-party patient financing
  • Answer and screen incoming phone calls
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for Doctors and Hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between the Patient and the Doctor
  • Collect and post patient payments
  • Follow-up as needed with the patient between visits for non scheduled, canceled, or missed appointments
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing and other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrates good problem solving skills
  • Follows through with tasks and responsibilities in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Is adaptable to daily events as they occur
  • Conveys a patient-focused manner in communication with others
  • Ability to communicate with patients, answer patient concerns and questions
  • Versed in dental terminologies and procedures
  • Understanding and compliance of HIPAA and OSHA & CDC Guidelines

Previous dental background and customer service experience is a MUST. Experience with the Dentrix and being bilingual are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
