About us
Our goal is to find drivers who have a United States Driver’s License with reliable transportation and insurance to work with Olyns as a Sherpa and make money while helping the environment. An Olyns Sherpa is alerted when the Olyns recycling Cubes are full of recycled beverage containers and is directed to pick-up the materials, then transport and log them for processing. Receive $18 per Cube collection with the opportunity for additional incentives.

You set your schedule, the pace, and route! The Olyns Cubes operate from 5am to 2am allowing a wide range of availability to accommodate all schedules allowing for greater work/life balance. The Cubes are in a variety of locations all in need of service and are actively expanding. The Olyns App process is simple and straight-forward with minimal training allowing all to be successful from the start.

Requirements
- Valid US Driver's License and completion of background check
- Reliable personal vehicle for storage and transportation of CA CRV materials
- Mobile device (iPhone or Android)
- Work gloves
- Able to carry up to 50lbs of CA CRV materials
- Able to communicate with users and staff/employees at store locations
- Able to record all services in a spreadsheet for tracking of payments
- Able to file US 1099 Independent Contractor tax forms
- Active PayPal account to receive payments
- Available to work 4 - 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Download the Olyns App to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play
- Download WhatsApp to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play
- Register an Olyns account with Sherpa status (example: SherpaJane.Doe@gmail.com)
- Accepting the Request Service to empty Cubes at various store locations
- Empty the Olyns Cubes of CA CRV containers (glass, PET plastic, and aluminum)
- Complete all services within 30 to 45 minutes of service request
- Service all Full status Cubes within 30 minutes of capacity being reached
- Pick-up all recycling containers from the store’s Customer Service Desk
- Conduct yourself courteously with all store employees, staff, and Olyns users during service
- Submit photos of user CA CRV receipt from the Safeway Customer Service Desk
- Drop off the collected containers in the Olyns storage unit C3 for service check-in
- Follow all safety protocols and collection procedures from pick-up to drop-off
- Record all your completed services in a spreadsheet for weekly payments
