You will drive a daily route using our step van delivery truck to deliver and pick up packages. Our Zionsville location services the Plainfield and Avon areas. Your day will start from the terminal each morning and will end after all packages are delivered and pickups are completed. This is a physical job that requires a DOT Physical and a For Hire Endorsement on your Indiana drivers license.
The FedEx Ground terminal is located at 10301 Bennett Pkwy, Zionsville, In 46077 (off 116th St. in between Michigan Rd. and Zionsville Rd.)
Requirements:
ONE FULL year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Uber, Amazon driver, pizza delivery, box truck, sprinter, company vehicle, school bus, etc.) within the last THREE years or FIVE years in the past TEN.
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21 years of age and older
- Clean Background
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam, drug test and background check
- Have the ability to maneuver packages of variable sizes and weight generally 30-70 pounds but 150 is the max. (Dollies provided)
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Clean driving record
