VAKO Logistics - Delivery Drivers will safely and securely deliver packages and be responsible for the on-time and complete delivery of small to bulky items to customer locations, inclusive of Business addresses.

You will operate delivery vehicles, complete routes, point-to-point deliveries, load and unload freight, and perform related duties. All while maintaining a safe and professional manner while staying on schedule and meeting all delivery performance metrics.

The Delivery Driver will function in a dynamic team environment where collaboration is key to overall success.

Job Requirements:
➢ Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections to ensure your vehicle is ready for the road
➢ Load and unload vehicles efficiently and confirm customer orders
➢ Safe and courteous manner vehicle operation
➢ Comply with company policies and all laws
➢ Set up and secure delivery items
➢ Communicate clearly and professionally and take direction from multiple people
➢ Adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
➢ Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be a strong team player
➢ Be detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
➢ Available for all assigned hours and days as business needs dictate
➢ Accurately communicate and document the delivery transactions
Qualifications:
➢ Must have current Driver’s License and have a clean driving record with minimal moving violations
➢ Must be willing and able to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds unassisted throughout your shift
➢ Must be able to achieve DOT Certification
➢ Must be able to pass Background requirements
➢ Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:
➢1+ Year Driving Experience

Physical Requirements:
Must be able lift 50 lbs. and be comfortable driving for 10 hour per day with multiple stops. Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, placing, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
