All schedules are day shift; Monday - Saturday Availability

05:30 Start Time for 8-10 hour shifts. All shifts start and end at the same location; The Home Depot Warehouse in Sparrows Point Maryland.

Driver Helper is responsible for the on-time and complete delivery of small to bulky items to customer locations. You will assist with loading/unloading and delivering all items safely and securely to business locations and residents in the area, all while maintaining a safe and professional manner while staying on schedule and meeting all delivery performance metrics.

You must be highly motivated to succeed and enjoy hands-on work, while focusing on delivering high
quality service.

Job Requirements:
➢ Load and unload vehicles efficiently and confirm customer orders
➢ Safe and courteous manner vehicle operation
➢ Comply with company policies and all laws
➢ Set up and secure delivery items
➢ Communicate clearly and professionally and take direction from multiple people
➢ Adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
➢ Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be a strong team player
➢ Be detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
➢ Available for all assigned hours and days as business needs dictate
➢ Accurately communicate and document the delivery transactions
Qualifications:
➢ No delivery experience required; training provided
➢ Must have current Driver’s License and have a clean driving record with minimal moving violations
➢ Must be willing and able to push, pull, and lift 75 pounds unassisted throughout your shift
➢ Must be able to pass Background requirements
➢ Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:
Must be able lift 75lbs. and be comfortable with delivering for 10 hours per day. Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
