WE LOVE OUR WORK.:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Mixes chemicals and operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
  • Moves furniture and cleans assigned area.
  • Maintains and cleans machines after use.
  • Maintains general cleaning of the entire casino and bar areas.
  • Transports all trash.
  • Reports any problems to EVS management.
  • Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
  • Performs all duties as assigned by EVS management.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and fellow team members.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • The ability to operate sweeping and shampooing equipment.
  • May be required to perform duties outside of normal job description where in the Company’s judgment it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved customer service.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Must qualify for licensing with the Maryland Gaming Board

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, lights, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Moderate to high noise levels.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino areas.
  • Varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and during peak sporting events.
