Our agency is looking for dedicated, professional licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one nursing care and support for medically fragile students in the public school system and in the transportation setting. We are looking for an individual who truly has and displays the best interest of the students. The position is Monday – Friday with varying shifts between 5AM and 5PM.

In-School Dedicated Nurse (LPNs & RNs) Job Duties

This position requires providing in-school care, flexibility, and teamwork. We are looking for an individual who truly has and displays the best interest of the students. This position is Monday – Friday.

• Provide daily one-on-one care of student or students as assigned by Nursing Supervisor
• Ability to work independently
• Some travel with students on Field Trips
• Care includes, but is not limited to: Catherization, g-tube feeding & care, trachea care, medication administration, diabetes care, asthma care, seizure monitoring and care, Vent experience desired
• Active DC nursing license – LPN
• Current CPR card
• Documentation of TB testing
• Background Check & Drug testing required

Transportation Nurse (LPNs & RNs)

This position requires providing care during transportation on the school bus to and from school, flexibility, and attention to detail. We are looking for an individual who is knowledgeable and able to accurately and quickly respond in an emergent situations. This position is Monday – Friday.

Job Duties

• Provide daily one-on-one care of student or students as assigned by Nursing Supervisor
• Ability to work independently

Nurse Supervisor – RN

Our agency is looking for a dedicated, professional, and knowledgeable RN Supervisor to provide oversight of dedicated paraprofessional and transportation LPNs who provided one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile students in the public school system. This position requires some travel, flexibility, and excellent leadership skills. This position is Monday – Friday.

Job Duties

• Provide daily Nursing Supervision and on-site support if needed
• Provide annual competency checks
• Provide quarterly evaluations
• Review nursing orders and create nursing plans
• Review, update & develop policies & procedures
• Provide LPN assignments
• Provide trainings and competency as needed
• Attend meetings as needed
• Monitor documentation for completeness
• Active DC nursing license – RN required
• Current CPR card required
• Documentation of TB testing required
• Background Check & Drug testing required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
