PRESCHOOL LUNCH/AFTERCARE STAFF MEMBER

Le Lycée Français de San Francisco (LFSF) is looking to hire a Preschool Aftercare Staff member for 22h30 (68% of a full-time equivalent) per week in our Sausalito campus.

Located in San Francisco, LFSF is a French Immersion, independent, co-educational, college preparatory day school of 890 students in grades preK-12. www.lelycee.org

Schedule: Hours are 11.45am to 1.15pm and 3pm to 6pm.

The Lunch/After Care Staff member assists and helps the safety and well-being of the children during lunches, nap times and after school hours in preschool with children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old.

Responsibilities

· Supervise preschoolers during lunchtime and naptime.

· Maintain the students’ safety during after school hours and ensure that all spaces are secure and safe.

· Anticipate any potential accident and report any injury to the designated supervisor.

· Make sure that all students are picked up by the correct person.

· Make sure students are not unattended or alone.

Qualifications

· Candidates must possess 12 Core ECE Units OR possess 6 ECE Units and enroll in at least 2 semester Units at a college or university until fully qualified.

· French speakers preferred but not mandatory.

· Comfortable changing diapers.

· Experience in private schools or education is preferred but not mandatory.

· Energetic and enthusiastic.

· Patient and respectful to children and parents.

Start Date: Immediate.

Location: Sausalito Campus (Marin County)
