Job description

Oland Technologies is seeking Data Scientists, Operations Research Analysts, and Data Visualization specialists with current DHS Suitability (active within last 3 months).

We are looking for U.S Citizens with experience supporting DHS Components including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), United States Custom and Border Protection (CBP), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), United States Secret Service (USSS), and Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

These roles will be supporting the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and will be working in the areas of predictive analytics, geospatial analysis, big data analysis, optimization, game theory, forecasting, process and mathematical modeling, probability and statistics, and data visualization.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following languages: Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, SAS, Stata, SPSS
  • Familiarity with workflow analysis and data manipulation tools like Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or Knime
  • Experience with modeling and simulation and familiarity with tools like NetLogo, Arena, ExtendSim, JaamSim
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and tools such as Tableau.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have active DHS Suitability
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 5+ years of experience.
