Background & Purpose of the Job
As a Data Scientist, you will help drive overall improvement to the Customer Supply Chain Organization. You will be responsible for identifying customer improvement initiatives through analytics. The ideal candidate is curious, a natural dot connector and constantly looking for opportunities to streamline existing processes, unlock revenue generation, cost savings, and efficiencies.
The Customer Data Scientist will be partnering with internal customer development, various functions within supply chain, and customer strategy, as well as liaise with our external organization of specialists.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do

Uncover cost improvement opportunities through analytics

Support continuous improvement projects and strategic collaborative customer initiative across the integrated supply chains to improve Unilever performance as measured by the customer, drive revenue generation, forecast improvement and cost savings.

Drive report enhancements that uncover additional efficiency or improvement opportunities.

Forge positive relationships with Data & analytics, Logistics, CS Strategy, and Supply Chain Planning. Create a reputation for excellence and purposeful passion.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Education and Training:
-
Undergraduate degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business-related field, or relevant work experience

Excel and SAP knowledge
-
Strong data analytical skills
-
Strong communication and follow through
-
Passion for problem solving
-
Comfortable with finding insights from data and making them meaningful to all levels of employees

Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SAS or any other ETL/data visualization process is a plus
This position can be filled remotely in the following states: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin.
