Snelling Staffing is seeking a temporary Data Entry Clerk for our non-profit client located near Maryland Heights, MO. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to work in an organization that truly makes a difference!

Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm | In-office | Business casual dress code

After 600 hours in the position, you will be eligible for conversion to a permanent employee.

* Must pass a data entry and typing skills test*

Responsibilities

• You'll answer the phone, look up application statuses, and enter notes into the system
• You'll ensure all data is entered accurately
• You'll perform detailed applicant screening to determine program eligibility and if appropriate documentation has been provided
• You'll calculate income eligibility from monthly pay stubs and other documents
• You'll print out email applications and scan them into the system
• You'll communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
• You'll maintain sensitive information with integrity

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; continued education in Data Processing preferred
• Data entry experience with a proven ability to complete work both accurately and timely
• Microsoft Office experience required
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, math, and customer service skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $13.96 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Maryland Heights, MO 63043: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
