Job description
- Input and process credit card transactions.
- Analyze, organize, and total daily credit card donations.
- Create daily gift batches and distribute daily email to staff for gift tracking.
- Manage mailing of tax receipts to meet audit standards.
- Support gift-related external inquiries and follow up on unresolved issues with investors.
- Produce reports on gift data entry process.
- Handle data maintenance and ensure software is up to date and is properly operating.
- Provide database support to departments across the organization.
- Reconcile online gifts with digital marketing software.
- Create systems to manage direct mail appeals and packages.
- Add new constituents and ensure all information is accurate.
- Collaborate with Development Department to reconcile end-of-month proposal close out.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Keen eye for detail and outstanding organizational skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven record of meeting deadlines and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to accurately process gifts, manage data, and generate reports.
- 1 – 2 years of experience or equivalent in database management.
- Must have working knowledge of Blackbaud; experience in Raiser’s Edge, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Financial Edge, Online Express, and Luminate preferred.
- Nonprofit background preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
