Overview

SCCI is seeking a Data Analyst / Tool Developer to support the management team of a Rapid Development portfolio. A successful candidate will bring strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel, Power Pivot and Power Query) and effective communication to the development and maintenance of tools used for Budget and Resource execution.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain MS Excel tools for tracking project cost estimates, resourcing, metatdata, and audit queries
• Update and modify existing databases to track new projects, bug fixes, and tool enhancements, as required
• Support program data-calls, reporting, and routine audits to track discrepancies between funding and resourcing
• Support process improvement, end user training, and PowerBI migration efforts
• Support future requirements for advancement or migration of the tool to MS Access or other database solution

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Technical field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated Advanced to Expert level MS Excel experience, including working knowledge of macros and VBA (Visual Basics for Applications) programming code language, and familiarity with Power Pivot and Power Query (Power Query M formula language)
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders and leadership across a diverse portfolio, lead monthly meetings, and track requirements and change requests
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, multitask, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Self-starter, team player

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• DoD or similar experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Access)
• Understanding of databases and database management
