RISE, Ltd. is seeking a Daily SCL/Group Home Program Director for our Elkader location. This position has become needed due to our continued agency growth.

The Program Director is responsible for:

• overall administration of their designated department,

• staff supervision, training and leadership,

• day to day coordination of activities,

• communication with families, guardians, case manager, and other stakeholders,

• development and implementation of person-centered plans,

• regulatory and accreditation compliance,

• serve as a member of the agency’s administrative team, and

• financial management of their designated department.

These tasks will be done with the goal of ensuring the delivery of quality services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with government agencies, community leaders, and the general public.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environment.

• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

• Strong leadership skills/experience.

• Proficient with Google Apps or related programs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field preferred, as well as 2 years experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness. Five (5) years experience working with people with disabilities may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
