The Basics:
- Position will work in office in Grand Forks, ND or fully remote work possibility in North Dakota, Minnesota, or Iowa after initial in-office training period in Grand Forks, ND (typically 3-6 months). Relocation to Grand Forks, ND required for training.
- Typical schedule will be full-time (Monday: 7am-5pm Tuesday-Friday: 8am-5pm with a rotating partial day on Saturday's about every 4-5 weeks.) Hours are typically higher between Thanksgiving-New Years.
What You’ll Take Ownership Of:
- Answering incoming customer calls and emails
- Providing information on product features and specifications, and keying order information.
- Assisting with post-sale customer service by providing order statuses and tracking information, as well as facilitating returns
- Cross-communication with other departments and manufacturers to provide information and answer customer questions
- Continuing education of new and current products carried by Acme Tools through team activities and vendor training
- Other opportunities as assigned
Need-To-Haves:
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to understand concerns
- Technically savvy with the ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, interpersonal, and written
- A solid track record of punctuality
- Must have availability of periodic Saturdays and overtime availability
Love-To-Haves:
- Previous call center experience
- Bonus points for tool and equipment industry knowledge
