Job Title: Support Specialist/Customer Support

Location: BNA12-CO, Nashville,TN

Duration: 04 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm)

Shift: 1st Shift (8 AM - 5 pm)

Highly prefer candidates to work hybrid in Nashville (2-3 days per week in office) – potential conversion only possible for Nashville-based candidates

Open to fully remote – any time zone

Responsibilities:

The Support Specialist will review invoice disputes and resolve them following SOPs within 3-day SLAs. Specifically, the support specialist will:

  • Work with finance team to address payment/invoice related concerns
  • Route questions to the appropriate groups within Amazon
  • Ensure the appropriate decision is reached on each request
  • Be able to work cross-functionally to communicate problems, solutions and implementation plans
  • Most work is very individualized, candidates will get work done on own time
  • The majority of work is handling invoice disputes by following SOPs – going through process of checking sources and tools to find where the process broke
  • Candidate will use Microsoft Excel as well as various internal Amazon tools
  • The role is never boring – work can be ambiguous and interesting
  • Flexible work hours – as long as candidates work 8 hours per day and meet their SLAs their schedule can be whatever they want
  • Help out various Internal Amazon employees from level 3 to level 8!

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service/financial/support specialist role
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of work on a daily basis
  • Must have strong MS Excel skills
  • Diligent work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong personal/integrity
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Project/Program Management experience preferred (looking for strong individual contributors, not people managers)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Must Have:

  • Great Communication Skills & Writing Skills
  • Time Management, able to get tasks done on own schedule set by themselves
  • Excel proficiency
