The
Customer Service Travel Specialist is responsible for all booking reservations, including airline tickets, hotels, tours, and shows, while ensuring guest satisfaction and company profitability. To be successful in this position, you will need excellent customer service skills.
*This position is onsite during the 3 - 4 month training period and will become a remote position after training.

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and quality customer service to all clients and customers
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products and services to meet sales expectations
- Answer inbound phone calls, emails, webchats, and faxes, and upsell customers with add-on services and products
- Assess customer needs, make recommendations for suitable products and services, recap itineraries, and document customer details and travel changes accordingly
- Follow up with customers to clarify requests and route requests to the appropriate department for handling
- Participate in product and service promotions and work to inform clients of pricing, applicable fare rules, and any travel restrictions
- Meet individual sales goals and contribute to departmental goals for quality, productivity, and schedule adherence
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and computer skills
- Experience using a Computer Reservation System is preferred
- Training will be onsite, Monday-Fridays 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- 40 hours/week, may have overtime as needed
- Must be able to work on some weekends and holidays
- Contract to hire during the training period (this position will become remote after training)
- $16/hour during training
- After training, pay will be $19-$25/hour plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, monthly bonus)
