Job description

Operations/Customer Service position responsible for day-to-day management of moving services for employees of Westerberg Global Mobility Services multi-national corporate clients. Fast-paced, ever-changing global environment, requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritize while remaining attentive and empathetic to our corporate clients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Pricing moving services for corporate clients, private individuals and WGMS trading partners
• Profit and loss responsibility for each service
• Contracting with WGMS global supply chain partners
• Scheduling and managing of all moving and transportation services
• Booking and managing freight with steamship lines, haulers, air carriers, brokers, packing and delivery agents
• Arranging for customs and delivery services in host countries
• Counseling relocating individuals regarding requirements for export and import
• Creating, collecting and distributing all transportation and customs documentation
• Performing all services to specific WGMS audited quality standards
• Building relationships with our global moving partner network

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background, minimum 3 years
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to cope with competing priorities and make sound decisions
• Global logistics experience is a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work with high level C Suite clients
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Interest in global cultures
• English required, but second language a strong plus

*We are open to seeking candidates outside of Illinois if the candidate has international moving, transportation, or logistic experience.

*Position is hybrid-employees will work 3 days a week in office. The position will be remote during the winter months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
