ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF SOQUEL is currently seeking to fill Part-Time and Full-Time positions!

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-Time position includes evenings and Saturdays

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists customer service, purchasing and various department teams and communicates with all parties regularly.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Answers inquiries through telephone, email and live chat by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
  • Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
  • Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
  • Sells additional services and products by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts; explaining new features.
  • Resolves product or service issues by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the issue; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Initiative - shows willingness and aptitude to take appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures. Takes on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be done.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year related experience required.
  • Compensation commensurate experience and education.
  • Knowledge of AVIMARK Software is a plus.
  • Physical effort: Work requires lifting, carrying and restraining animals (lifting assistance provided when lifting animals over 40 lbs). Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time; frequently works in a bent position.
