Ingersoll’s US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Inside Sales Support Representative.

This is a professional position responsible for growing and maintaining a positive relationship with clients and the outside sales representatives that service them.

Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:

· Responding to both internal and external inquires in a timely and professional
manner

· Quoting prices and availability of products

· Maintain appropriate inventory levels for clients

· In-take of up to 50 calls per day

· In-putting of orders from phone, email, and EDI requests

· Follow-up on delivery information and processing expedite requests

· Answer inquiries about products and services

Skills/Qualifications:

· Professional demeanor with the ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations

· Highly organized with the capability to multi-task

· Ability to uphold high volume work loads

· Familiarity with machine tools a plus

· Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) AS400 and or similar
system preferred

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office-based customer service, inside sales, or order entry role; experience gained within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

This is a full-time position in a professional office setting. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently as well as with others in a team environment. Candidates should be highly organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintain an organized and clean work area, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits with a strong attention to detail, demonstrate safety consciousness, be self-motivated with a proven capacity to multi-task, and conduct themselves professionally at all times.
