Blue Cow Carwash now hiring car wash attendants at our Mount Vernon location. Prior customer service experience required. Weekday and weekend availability required.

Summary

As a Car Wash Attendant at Blue Cow Carwash, you will provide stellar customer service to all car wash customers. You will work as part of an awesome team to ensure cars get clean and customers have an awesome experience at Blue Cow.

Job Type: Part-time (10-35 hours)
Starting Salary: $15.74 plus tips and commission
Shift Availability: Weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Flexible hours and shifts.

Job Duties

• Greet all customers upon entering the premises in a friendly and helpful manner. Identify customer needs and use problem solving skills to improve customer experience.
• Process customer vehicles entering the tunnel and evaluate the condition of each vehicle. Remove dirt and debris from vehicles following proper car prepping guidelines. Quickly identify vehicles that may need equipment removed before entering the tunnel.
• Ensure carwash premises is clean and safe by regularly doing perimeter checks. Clean and maintain restrooms, remove trash and debris from self-serve bays, and ensure vacuum hoses are hung and all vacuums are unclogged. Empty vacuum trash cans and pick up trash around premises and inside tunnel. Maintain a clean office environment; wash windows, take out trash, sanitize common surfaces.
• Continually learns about and performs all duties and processes in the car wash to become fully cross trained in order to assist the business where needed.

Required Work Experience: Prior work experience in a position involving customer service helpful, but not required.

Required Education: High school education or equivalent.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, and handling of tools/materials as well as lifting up to 50 lbs. The position requires the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The Car Wash Attendant position works in all types of weather conditions and requires it requires an individual with availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
