Job description

24-30 hours per week: Hours will be 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (During Summer Months) and 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (During School Year); Wage is $14.25-$15.50 an hour based on experience. This position does come with benefits such as Arizona State Retirement and Health Insurance. The position location will be at Beaver Dam Jr/Sr High School. Please note: this position will only be funded through June 30, 2024.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Knowledge of:

• Methods of cleaning materials, equipment and supplies used in custodial and cleaning work.
• School buildings and equipment maintenance.
• Routine hand and power tools.

Ability to:

• To follow assigned schedules.
• To estimate quantity and types of materials and supplies needed.
• To maintain simple records and prepare routing reports.
• To understand and carry out oral and written records.
• To maintain cooperative relations with those contacted in the course of work.
• To lift up to 58 pounds.
• To bend, stoop and to reach.
• To perform work in a safe manner.
