Shift Hours:

1st shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm

2nd– 11:00 am – 8:00 pm - Overtime as required on both

$17.50/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reads work order or pick tickets or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, moved or processed.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, pallet jack, conveyor or other material handling equipment.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs banding and stretch wrapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or containers.
• Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers. Ensures accuracy of order and security of packaging to avoid damage in shipment.
• Secure certain larger items in crates, either by building from scratch or using an empty crate on hand.
• Use crate shop equipment when required. Such as table saws, nail gun and staple gun.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one plus year related experience and/or training.

Key Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Ability to read, interpret documents, and pack product for shipment
• Willingness to learn

Top candidates will have:

• Powered Industrial Vehicle experience (Forklift, Reach, Order Picker)
• Warehouse Management System experience (Oracle preferred)
• Experience with power tools such as table saws, impact drivers, etc.
• Excellent communication and math skills
• Previous pick-pack operation experience is desirable
