Location: 2 Broadway New York, New York
Duration: 1 Year with possible extension
Shift: Days - Full Time

Role and Responsibilities:
The Cost Control Engineer will provide cost control services for various phases of a capital project's lifecycle.

  • Performing cost/schedule variance analysis and identifying project delivery concerns.
  • Develop and review cost control reports and standards.
  • Work with FTA and other oversight agencies.
  • Assist with benchmarking initiatives.
  • Analyzing project/program start, completion and duration variances at major milestones throughout the project life cycle.
  • Providing synthesis of key information to project managers.
  • Assisting the Authority in preparing executive level summary reports.
  • Monitoring projects progress and providing timely reports of performance measurements (budget-over-run/under-run and schedule delay/acceleration).
  • Training support; and developing project delivery standards and procedures.

Skills & Experience Qualifications:

  • Well versed in various cost control functions.
  • Experience in developing EAC for each component of the project.
  • Preparing and developing various analyses and presentations to senior management.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Statistics Construction, Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a combination of education with both cost control and field experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Railroad Construction practices is preferable.

Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s experience, education, and training. The estimated hourly range for this position is $50.00 – $58.00 and full benefits.
