JOB DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Hospitality and Ticketing Manager will deliver exceptional service to our internal and external clients through excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage high volume requests.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage stakeholder relationships. This person will be expected to gain knowledge of ticketing systems, Sports and Entertainment venues nationwide, build relationships with these venues and maintain the Firm’s ticket inventory.


Job Location: Jersey City, NJ. Hybrid (3 days in office)


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Firm Ticketing Allocations

  • Work closely with the firm’s divisions on ticketing needs and allocations to end users
  • Manage the overall ticket allotments for the firm
  • Manage ticket platform (TicketOS) with vendor and key stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with key Sports and Entertainment Venues
  • Own weekly calls to build relationships with division leads

Business Strategy and Management

  • Assist in identifying hospitality opportunities for the firm
  • Conduct research and create presentations for internal review
  • Support in development of creative ideas for new and existing hospitality events

Event Oversight Support

  • Support on budget management and spend management internal systems
  • Support on contract negotiations
  • Support on approvals and internal communications
  • Support on overall Hospitality event execution
  • Assist with menu/food and beverage selections
  • Manage transportation
  • Manage hotel and venue logistics
  • Manage gift selection, F&B and written communications with internal and external clients
  • Create agendas and run update meetings
  • Participate in site visits
  • Coordinate any invitations, RSVPs, other client communications
  • Manage distribution of tickets or other event entry materials

Administration Support

  • Manage internal accounting systems for hospitality events
  • Pay invoices
  • Manage approvals
  • Manage payments against budgeted costs
  • Facilitate calendars, meetings and other communications with internal and external clients
  • Support in managing GS vendor relationships such at ticket vendors and other
  • Work within GS platforms and systems (SMS, KYP3, etc.) to manage process, budgets and invoice payments

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years experience in event management focused on Sports and Entertainment
  • Management of Ticketing Systems a plus but not required
  • Work experience inside a Sports and Entertainment venue a plus but not required
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to establish relationships and maintain a positive rapport with clients, vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiating, risk management and contracting skills
  • Knowledge of Sports and Entertainment Venues
  • Good/advanced working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, team player
  • Calm and flexible approach to handling the pressure and stress of ever-changing demands
  • Ambitious and proactive
  • Willing to travel when required
