Job title: Corporate Development Analyst
Reports to: Director, Corporate Development
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
SUMMARY:
The Corporate Development Analyst role plays an integral part in Priority’s investment and strategy team based in NY. The candidate will be a key player in the investment process, assisting in all financial analysis and recommendations as well as evaluation of key internal strategies. The analyst will be responsible for in-depth diligence, cash flow modeling, and driving internal recommendations.
JOB DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare cash flow models and performance analysis to support corporate growth opportunities.
- Perform ad hoc analyses for operations, finance, and C-Suite as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate initiatives.
- Assist in due diligence, negotiations, and other project materials.
- Efficiently articulate/present investment ideas, analysis and transaction recommendations.
- Conduct industry and company research, and prepare market analysis reports.
- Collaborate with other business teams to develop and execute financial solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with external counter parties to drive project execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external counter parties.
- Continue to develop a strong skillset in data analysis, modeling and financial analysis.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields.
- 1 year of experience in banking or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in investment modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build financial models from scratch.
- Base knowledge, or willingness to learn basic SQL and VBA.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights and construct solutions.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, high organizational ability, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal form, and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
