Copywriting Specialist

PropStream, the most trusted provider of comprehensive real estate data nationwide, is seeking a Copywriting Specialist. The applicant will be familiar with a wide variety of copywriting best practices to engage users and will be responsible for developing, sending, and optimizing email content, landing pages, and other copy to support the company’s growth and retention strategies. This is an exciting role for someone that wants to shape and develop a company’s message to a diverse audience and educate individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs on how they can succeed in real estate using PropStream.

This position requires a hands-on person who is highly motivated, has an impeccable eye for detail, and demonstrates expertise in email marketing, landing pages, ad copy, and knows how to use Hubspot. Our Copywriting Specialist will work closely with our marketing team to produce and implement cohesive email campaigns and conversion funnels through Hubspot and other tools they need to optimize key performance indicators. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in using copywriting to help develop brand voices and sell the benefits of SaaS-based products and services.

The ideal candidate reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the Content Specialist will:

• Develop email communications for specific campaigns and workflow sequences using Hubspot
• Optimize and A/B test subject lines and content to maximize engagement metrics
• Research to find the latest trends in real estate/real estate investing
• Managing an email calendar for campaigns in conjunction with the direction provided by the Content Specialist and other key departments, including sales and education
• Work to improve email marketing and landing page copy
• Create and optimize landing pages for continual improvement using best practices, Hotjar, and other analytic tools
• Monitor and report on content engagement
• Be able to write and proofread emails and landing page copy
• Project manage and work with marketing colleagues to produce desired graphics and videos needed to support the vision of your work
• Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of content creation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of writing experience, including copywriting, content writing, and SEO
• Experience working with a SaaS company
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Experience working with Hubspot and Google Analytics and an understanding of their analytics/insights
• Experience sending emails for Workflow sequences for sales, acquisition, abandonment, retention, learning (Academy), internal communications, and newsletters
• Ability to segment emails
• Ability to utilize Hotjar or similar tool
• Experience with the real estate industry is a plus
• Passion for intelligent and engaging storytelling, social listening, and creating meaningful and/or empowering experiences for a diverse audience in a b2b and b2c setting
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Interest or passion for real estate and the economy
