Role Summary: Day to day, the Copywriter will be responsible for writing on-strategy, on-time, and exceptional creative work for MSG Sphere Studios. As a part of the Creative Development, Experience & Design team, you’ll be a key contributor to the ideation of breakthrough ideas. You’ll work with experience and content strategists, creative directors and designers on concepts, creative strategy and pitches for the range of experiences at Sphere. Specific Functions/Activities Summary:

• Take a strategic brief and deliver with writing that is sharp, entertaining, error-free and on-brand
• Work will include a wide range of deliverables – so you must be comfortable writing IG posts and emails as you are OOH headlines or TV scripts.
• 4-7 years of experience in creative development, entertainment advertising, marketing, or brand content creation, preferably on a development team at a studio or in an agency or agency-style environment
• Superior strategic thinking, superb writing and editing ability, confidence, keen eye for detail, grammar and style
• Highly motivated and a high level of initiative, ability to work independently in support of creative goals and business objectives.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
• 3-5 years experience in content marketing or copywriting in a high growth fast paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
• Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
• Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent portfolio of work, proven industry experience
