About the Role

Over the last several months we’ve been ambitious. The team launched 4 new tools and kicked off a brand refresh project. Now we’re looking for a Copywriter who can bring all of this together by helping develop and refine our brand voice.

In this role on the Marketing team, you’d also lead the creation of digital marketing copy — from paid ads to email campaigns — and collaborate with our stellar Product and Data teams. This is a great opportunity to work on a product that’s helped more than 2 million people take control of their financial futures.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with our Marketing and Product teams to help define and refine Qapital’s voice to positively impact user growth.

• You will help tell our story and showcase the app’s concrete benefits across all user-facing touchpoints. We appreciate a sense of wit that doesn’t overshadow the product benefits.

• Write copy for paid and organic marketing communications that drive engagement across the funnel.

• Analyze performance metrics and iterate on creative accordingly.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver outstanding creative.

• Find new opportunities to expand our reach on new platforms, creating compelling, channel-specific ideas and messages.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience writing marketing copy. We’re looking for someone who can go beyond creating brand campaign headlines and can cover the full marketing funnel, digital advertisements, paid social media content, and emails. Having experience with both paid marketing and email marketing is a plus, but not a dealbreaker. We’re cool if you have experience with one and not the other.

• You’re constantly curious. The ideal candidate will tackle their own research, identify and fix problems, and understand that experimentation helps us learn — no matter how an experiment turns out.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where flexibility and adaptability are key. (Don’t worry, we also value work/life balance!)

• The ability to cut through the noise while conveying the product’s benefits.

Salary range: $75k-100k
